Import video and use the library
The library contains the source files for the project. Import from the menu, the Import button, or by dragging files into the window.
Import video
- Choose File > Import Video..., or click Import.
- Select one or more supported video files, such as
.mov,.mp4,.mkv,.webm,.avi,.m4v, or.hevc. - Select an item in the library to preview it or add it to the queue.
Use the library
- Use search to find files, formats, or names.
- Sort and filter when a project contains many videos.
- Press Space on a selected item to open Quick Look.
- Use Reveal in Finder to locate the original file.
Canon RAW
.crm files should be converted to Apple ProRes with Canon's tools before previewing, scrubbing, warping, or exporting.See also: Use Preview, Prepare the queue.
